A well-established agronomy team in Southwest Nebraska is seeking a Mix Plant Operator to join their operations. This full-time role is ideal for someone with an agronomy or general ag background, but willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow a career in agriculture while working alongside a dedicated team serving local producers. Extended hours are required during peak seasons.
Operate and maintain fertilizer blending systems and associated equipment
Oversee warehouse operations and assist with loading/unloading of product
Perform regular preventative maintenance and ensure facility cleanliness
Monitor and maintain inventory levels accurately
Follow proper safety procedures and company protocols
Stay informed on new technologies, equipment, and agronomic inputs
Agronomy or Ag-related experience preferred (but not required)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and a commitment to reliability
Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons
