📌 Project Manager – Structural Steel

About the Opportunity A fast-growing construction firm is seeking a Project Manager experienced in Structural Steel and Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can coordinate both field and office operations, and delivers projects from award through closeout with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, budgets, and cost controls

  • Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and buyout

  • Review drawings, specs, and submittals for accuracy and constructability

  • Monitor field progress, ensuring quality and safety standards

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, engineers, vendors, and field teams

  • Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Project Management for structural steel or PEMB

  • Ability to read/interpret structural drawings, erection plans, and shop drawings

  • Proven success managing multiple steel/PEMB projects

  • Knowledge of steel fabrication, erection sequencing, and envelope systems

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities

  • Proficiency with Procore, CMiC, MS Project, or similar tools

  • Experience supporting superintendents, erectors, and detailers

  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
