Title Funder/Closer (Commercial & Residential)

Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Ocean County
Employment Type: Full-Time | Primarily Onsite (Potential for some hybrid)


About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Title Funder/Closer to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing, balancing, and disbursing loan packages in compliance with lender and company requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review closing packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lender instructions and regulatory requirements
  • Disburse loan funds accurately and on time
  • Balance funding ledgers and reconcile disbursements with loan proceeds
  • Prepare, review, and finalize all closing documents for real estate transactions.
  • Communicate with lenders, escrow officers, and internal teams regarding funding status and any required corrections
  • Ensure all required documents (wire confirmations, payoff statements, title policies, etc.) are in place before funding
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, lender guidelines, and state/federal regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to funding inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Balance closing files, confirm payoffs, and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the funding/closing process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in title funding, closing, and/or escrow
  • Knowledge of real estate settlement procedures, lender funding requirements, and title insurance regulations
  • Commercial & Residential experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and title/escrow software (SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
