Job Title: CEI Senior Project Engineer

Location: Florida Gulf Coast Region 

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Salary Range: $95,000 – $120,000/year (DOE)

About the Opportunity: A nationally ranked, employee-owned Top 100 Design Firm is seeking a CEI Senior Project Engineer to lead major FDOT roadway and bridge construction projects across the Florida Gulf Coast. With 60+ years in business, this firm combines long-term stability with modern growth and opportunity.

Role Overview: This role is ideal for a Florida-licensed civil engineer with strong experience in Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) and deep familiarity with FDOT procedures. You’ll lead project execution, oversee staff, manage compliance, and help drive new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CEI operations on FDOT roadway/bridge projects

  • Supervise staff and manage schedules, budgets, and quality control

  • Ensure compliance with FDOT standards and procedures

  • Serve as client liaison and project representative

  • Support proposals, technical reviews, and project inspections

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering + Florida PE license

  • 6+ years of experience in road/bridge construction

  • FDOT Advanced MOT Certification

  • CTQP Quality Control Manager (or ability to obtain)

  • Familiarity with FDOT District 3 a plus

  • Valid driver’s license + ability to pass drug screening
