Position Overview: The Project Manager will play a key role in managing glass and glazing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the glass and glazing industry, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of glass and glazing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee on-site activities, including the work of subcontractors, installers, and other team members.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, safety standards, and within the allocated timeframe.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and address any technical or logistical challenges.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and schedules.
  • Resolve conflicts or challenges that arise during the course of the project in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the glass and glazing industry.
  • Strong understanding of glass and glazing systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
