About the Opportunity
Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of industrial and academic projects while collaborating with a boutique engineering firm known for strong client relationships and a high percentage of repeat business.
What You'll Do
• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, academic, and commercial facilities. • Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and construction documents. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. • Perform site visits, field investigations, and project assessments. • Support projects through design, permitting, bidding, and construction. • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. • Assist with project management, scheduling, and client communication.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design. • Strong HVAC and plumbing design experience. • PE license preferred, or actively pursuing licensure. • Knowledge of building codes and engineering standards. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
