Commercial Construction Project Manager – Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join one of Atlanta’s top general contractors. This is a full-time opportunity with a financially strong, award-winning construction firm known for delivering excellence in commercial and light industrial construction projects across the region.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead exciting, high-visibility builds while mentoring your team and building lasting relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

  • Collaborate with Estimating during the preconstruction phase

  • Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to less experienced project management staff

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

  • Oversee subcontractor procurement: buyouts, scope reviews, contract management, insurance, and bonding

  • Guide resolution of drawing interpretation issues and design conflicts

  • Supervise project administration: submittals, RFIs, change orders, billing, time sheets, and monthly reporting

  • Ensure accurate, timely billing to owners and monitor subcontractor invoicing

  • Track and manage project budgets and cost forecasts

  • Create and manage detailed project schedules, with regular updates


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial or light industrial construction

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and jobsite operations

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage costs, timelines, and contracts independently

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
