Job Title: PEMB Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in the PEMB industry, strong proficiency in MBS software, and hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license. This role involves engineering design, project coordination, and ensuring structural integrity and compliance across a wide range of metal building projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural engineering design and analysis for PEMB projects

  • Utilize MBS software for modeling, design, and detailing

  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and project documentation

  • Review designs for accuracy, code compliance, and constructability

  • Collaborate with project managers, detailers, drafters, and fabrication teams

  • Provide engineering support throughout fabrication and erection phases

  • Stamp and approve engineering documents as required

  • Troubleshoot field issues and modify designs as needed

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and industry standards

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building industry

  • Proficiency in MBS software is required

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field)

  • Strong understanding of structural steel design and metal building systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
