A national commercial general contractor with a growing Dallas-Fort Worth presence is looking for a Director of Preconstruction to lead its data center and mission critical pursuits. You'll own preconstruction strategy from early concept through buyout and help shape how the team wins and delivers large, technically complex projects.

What You'll Do
• Lead preconstruction for data center and mission critical projects, from conceptual budgets through GMP and buyout
• Build and manage the estimating and preconstruction team supporting the region's pursuits
• Partner with owners, developers and design teams on design-build delivery, value engineering and constructability
• Develop procurement and long-lead equipment strategies for electrical and mechanical systems
• Drive trade partner outreach, bid leveling and scope reviews
• Work closely with business development and operations on pursuits, presentations and clean handoffs

What You Bring
• 15+ years in construction across estimating, procurement and project management
• Data center or mission critical preconstruction experience with a general contractor
• Design-build experience preferred
• Strong cost knowledge of MEP-heavy, technically complex buildings
• A confident, collaborative leadership style and comfort presenting to owners
