Job Description

A long-established Texas regional litigation firm is seeking a defense litigation associate for its San Antonio office to handle defense matters for corporate and insured clients in state and federal court.

Responsibilities

• Handle defense litigation matters through discovery, motions, and trial
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions and attend hearings and mediations
• Work with clients and senior attorneys on case strategy and resolution

Requirements

• 3+ years of civil or defense litigation experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage an active docket

Work arrangement

Full-time, in office in San Antonio.
