Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Medical Malpractice & Personal Injury

Are you an experienced paralegal or legal assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice or personal injury to join our team. While defense-side experience is preferred, it is not required—we are looking for a skilled legal professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide litigation support to attorneys in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and motions.
  • Assist with trial preparation, deposition summaries, and medical record reviews.
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and e-filings in both state and federal courts.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and experts to gather necessary case information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in medical malpractice or personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including case management and court filings.
  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with legal software and case management systems is a plus.
