Job Title: Family Law Attorney
Location: Seattle, WA

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence, and other related matters. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic violence cases.

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and court orders.

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

  • Represent clients in mediation, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings, including hearings and trials.

  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes of their cases.

  • Develop case strategies that align with the client’s goals while maintaining ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in Washington State (in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association).

  • 3+ years of experience in family law practice preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Washington State family law statutes and court procedures.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mediation and collaborative law training or experience.

  • Experience handling high-asset divorce cases and complex financial matters.

  • Strong network within the legal and family law community in Washington State.
