Agronomy Operations Supervisor

GPAC is working with an established agricultural organization seeking an Agronomy Operations Supervisor to oversee daily agronomy operations, support customers, and help lead efficient production activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of an agronomy facility, including product handling, blending, batching, loading, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate application orders and ensure products are prepared and delivered accurately.
  • Schedule and dispatch application equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Assist with managing inventory levels by monitoring product on hand, customer demand, and coordinating timely ordering.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and verify physical inventory matches system records.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment while ensuring proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
  • Work with location leadership to manage facility organization, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Support customer service efforts by ensuring products and services are available when needed.
  • Assist growers with agronomy products including crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and precision agriculture solutions.
  • Help maintain a strong safety culture by following company policies, maintenance programs, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

  • Agronomy education and/or agricultural industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in agronomy operations, fertilizer, crop inputs, or ag retail preferred.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
