We are a growing provider of municipal and environmental equipment solutions, serving public works departments, municipalities, and contractors across the Midwest. Our product lines include wastewater, stormwater, street maintenance, and solid waste equipment. With a strong reputation for service and reliability, we are expanding our Illinois sales team.


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Municipal Equipment Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role focused on selling capital equipment to municipalities, public works departments, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has prior experience selling into municipalities or government entities and understands long sales cycles, bid processes, and technical equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with municipalities, engineers, and public works officials
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Navigate RFPs, bids, and government purchasing processes
  • Conduct product demonstrations and site visits
  • Collaborate with internal teams on proposals and project execution
  • Maintain CRM activity and accurate sales forecasting
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings

Qualifications (Required):

  • 3+ years of experience in municipal, heavy equipment, environmental, or industrial sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience selling to municipalities, government agencies, or public works
  • Strong understanding of bid processes and long sales cycles
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in wastewater, stormwater, refuse, or street maintenance equipment
  • Existing relationships with municipal decision-makers
  • Technical/mechanical aptitude
