Job Title: Project Manager – Ground-Up Construction / Structural Steel
Overview:
We are seeking a driven Project Manager with experience in either ground-up commercial construction or structural steel projects. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of proven success as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager, delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget goals are achieved.
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to coordinate work efficiently.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Review and manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, architects, and engineers.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required).
Minimum 2+ years of experience as an APM or PM in structural steel or ground-up commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
