Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Fast-Paced Litigation Firm

Our established law firm is seeking a dedicated legal assistant or paralegal with 5–7 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with some medical malpractice background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in high-quality work. We are looking for someone with strong job stability, excellent attention to detail, and a go-getter attitude.

The successful legal assistant or paralegal will support attorneys across a variety of litigation matters, including medical malpractice cases, complex discovery, and trial preparation. This legal assistant role also involves coordinating records specific to medical malpractice claims. While trial experience is a plus, it is not required. What matters most is a hardworking approach, independence paired with team commitment, and the ability to manage deadlines confidently in a demanding setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with case management, drafting, and document preparation for medical malpractice litigation.
  • Support attorneys with deposition scheduling, record collection, and trial preparation as an experienced legal assistant or paralegal.
  • Maintain organized files, track deadlines, and contribute to case strategy on medical malpractice matters.
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with the legal team as a reliable legal assistant.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and initiative in all tasks expected of a seasoned paralegal.
  • Handle fast-moving assignments, multitask effectively, and support medical malpractice attorneys as needed.
