Vice President of Operations – Residential Construction

gpac is partnered with a well established residential construction company that is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee estimating, permitting, purchasing, and coordinate with construction team. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a proven construction background.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead estimating, permitting, and purchasing teams for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work directly with construction teams to optimize workflow and quality.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to support high-volume projects.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and align operations with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Residential construction experience (high-volume required).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in estimating or purchasing preferred.
  • Experience with budgeting, leadership skills, and running a division.
  • ERP system experience required.
