Key responsibilities:
Oversee funeral arrangements, services, embalming, removals, and preparation of funerals
Meet and support families to plan funeral, cremation, and cemetery services
Direct and organize visitations, funerals, memorials, and ensure service excellence
Guarantee compliance with funeral home policies, paperwork, and industry regulations
Assist with cremated remains and other funeral director duties as needed
Requirements:
Active Georgia Funeral Director/Embalmer license OR ability to reciprocate
Minimum 5 years of funeral director experience
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Professional appearance and compassionate demeanor
Willingness to take on-call shifts as necessary
