Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Controller to take a leadership role in managing the financial operations of a successful business. This individual will oversee accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance, while also handling all tax preparation and planning for the company.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or experienced accounting professional who enjoys high-level financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes

• Prepare and file all federal, state, and local tax returns for the business

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and produce accurate financial statements

• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to leadership

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• CPA license is required

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of tax regulations preferred

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $110,000–$150,000, depending on experience
