🚨 URGENT: Insurance Defense Attorney (5+ Years) – Pittsburgh, PA | Hit the Ground Running

If you’re an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney who knows how to manage cases, handle pressure, and deliver results—this is a role where you’ll be trusted to own your work and make an immediate impact.

A busy, well-respected Pittsburgh litigation practice is looking for a 5+ year attorney to step into a high-volume, high-exposure caseload. You’ll work closely with leadership while handling meaningful matters across public sector and corporate clients.

⚖️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage insurance defense cases from start to finish
• Take the lead on motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Drive trial preparation and assist at trial (jury & non-jury)
• Handling a strong pipeline of federal court matters
• Represent clients such as:
  • School districts & school boards
  • Municipalities & government entities
  • Public officials and authorities
  • Work on related commercial litigation matters and dispute resolution (mediation/arbitration)

🎯 What You Bring

• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Active Pennsylvania license (required)
• Strong experience in federal court
• Background handling:
  • Civil rights / Section 1983 claims
  • EEOC matters
  • Governmental liability & public entity defense
  • General liability cases
  • Proven ability to:
    • Manage complex discovery
    • Draft and argue dispositive motions
    • Prepare cases for trial
    • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills

Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
