Working with a respected regional law firm with a strong reputation for excellence in workers’ compensation defense. Their Atlanta office is growing, and are seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our collaborative and client-focused team. They represent a wide range of employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia.
The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience in Georgia workers’ compensation defense and a solid understanding of Georgia WC law and procedure. This attorney will handle their own caseload, from initial claim investigation through litigation, hearings, and resolution, with support from experienced partners and staff.
Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense matters.
Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and administrative proceedings.
Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents.
Advise clients on case strategy, risk management, and compliance issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Georgia WC laws and regulatory developments.
Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
3–7 years of relevant experience in workers' compensation law preferred.
Excellent written, oral advocacy skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.
