Position:Feed Mill Manager

Overview: As the Feed Mill Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring profitability, efficient and high-quality feed production, exceptional customer service, and effective staffing. We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our team and contribute to the growth and success of our Non-GMO and Organic feed business.

Feed Mill Manager Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to maintain strong client relationships.
  2. Ensure feed quality and adherence to legal standards.
  3. Contribute to the development and execution of plans to expand our Non-GMO and Organic feed business.
  4. Maintain accurate billing, inventory, and cash procedures.
  5. Enforce compliance with company policies, with a focus on safety and credit protocols.
  6. Monitor inventory for quality and maintain an optimal supply.
  7. Efficiently schedule staff for feed manufacturing and delivery, managing overtime and labor costs.
  8. Collaborate with other feed locations to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  9. Oversee grain operations at the Athens location, documenting all grain transitions.
  10. Actively promote additional sales and refer leads to the sales staff.
  11. Report any safety concerns promptly to the VP of Feed.
  12. Maintain a professional appearance and ensure a clean and inviting workplace.
  13. Assist in convincing key prospects about the benefits of the company and Feed Division.

Feed Mill Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Preferably, possess 3 years of management experience or relevant field expertise.
  2. Effective communication skills with both staff and customers.
  3. Ability to learn and operate business-related systems.
  4. Strong mathematical aptitude.
