Role Overview:

Develop Loan Portfolio: Build and manage a portfolio focused on small business loans, ranging from $500K to $1.5MM.

Business Development: Use your established local networks and Centers of Influence (COI) to secure new clients and strengthen existing relationships, ensuring a robust pipeline of business opportunities.

Tailor Lending Solutions: Collaborate directly with small business owners to create customized financial solutions that cater to their unique needs.

Risk and Financial Analysis: Perform evaluations on loan applications, conduct comprehensive financial analyses, and oversee the underwriting process to effectively manage risk.

Collaboration and Community Engagement: Partner with internal teams to streamline processes and improve client satisfaction, while actively participating in community and industry events to enhance visibility and community connection.
Qualifications:

Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience in small business lending, with a strong understanding of the Lansing market.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

SBA Loan Management: Proficiency in handling Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.

Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical and financial skills, essential for assessing credit risk and underwriting loans.
