Litigation Associate Attorney (4–10+ Years)
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4–10+ years of experience to join its Oakland office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, employment law, business disputes, real estate litigation, and general torts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking meaningful responsibility, a diverse caseload, and a collaborative team environment with hybrid flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload across multiple areas of civil litigation
  • Handle all phases of litigation, from case evaluation through trial preparation
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
  • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations
  • Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
  • Develop case strategy and work closely with partners on complex matters

Qualifications:

  • 4–10+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following: insurance defense, employment law, business litigation, real estate, or torts preferred
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a team
  • Active California Bar admission required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $160,000 – $225,000 (DOE)
