Position: Associate Lawyer – Family Law
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
A client-focused law firm recognized for delivering tailored legal solutions in emotionally complex matters is seeking a Family Law Associate with courtroom experience to join its growing practice. This firm is known for helping clients protect what matters most—family, future, and peace of mind—through compassionate counsel and effective legal advocacy.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of post-call family law experience and a strong litigation foundation. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility for lawyers who want to do meaningful work in a supportive, well-respected environment.
Represent clients in contested and uncontested family law matters including divorce, custody, parenting plans, child and spousal support, and property division.
Attend and advocate at hearings, mediations, and trials.
Independently manage a caseload with support from senior lawyers and legal assistants.
Draft pleadings, settlement agreements, and trial materials.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, counsel, and court personnel.
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
Minimum 2 years of family law experience, with courtroom exposure (hearings, motions, or trials).
Excellent legal writing, organization, and time management skills.
Client-focused, with strong interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence.
Comfort with a paperless office and virtual court appearances.
