A local area family-owned farming company is looking to hire an Experienced Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of their organic and conventional farming operations. They grow a wide variety of vegetables with some heirlooms. This exciting opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience and proven longevity as the company has a low turnover rate.   Farm Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee conventional and organically grown vegetables
• Oversee all farming operations and communicate efficiently with the owners
• Ensure efficient operation of farm equipment and promptly address maintenance issues
• Provide strong leadership and have a full understanding of both organic and conventional farming practices
• Always withhold the company’s high level of professionalism

 Farm Manager Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in a farm managerial role
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience in crop rotation and sustainable/organic and conventional practices
• Passion for agriculture and a commitment to fostering a supportive community
• Ensure compliance with organic certification standards
• A strong understanding of irrigation systems, equipment operations, and maintenance
• Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license
