Labor & Employment Attorney: Employment Defense with Hybrid Flexibility in Fort Myers

Our client, an established Florida labor and employment firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Fort Myers office. The practice counsels and defends employers across a wide range of industries.

This is a hybrid position. You will split your week between the Fort Myers office and working from home.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, and wrongful termination claims
• Draft position statements, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Advise employers on policies and compliance
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and client communication skills
• Comfort working on a hybrid schedule
