A well-established law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate to join its Athens, Georgia office. This is a unique opportunity to step into an established and active book of business while positioning yourself for long-term growth and leadership within the firm.

Opportunity Overview:

• Immediate access to a well-developed book of business (valued in the several hundred-thousand-dollar range)
• Diverse caseload including:
  • General liability
  • Insurance defense
  • Premises liability
  • Auto liability (including Farm Bureau matters)
  • Aviation-related claims (including matters connected to major commercial airlines)
• Opportunity to take ownership of files and manage cases with autonomy
• Trial experience is a plus; strong second-chair experience will be considered, with a path to first-chair opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in general liability and/or insurance defense
• Ability to independently manage a caseload
• Strong client communication and case management skills
• Interest in growing a book of business and developing long-term client relationships
• Someone who can step in and take ownership of existing files with minimal oversight

Compensation & Structure:

• Base salary commensurate with experience
• Performance-based bonus structure
