Position: Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Houston, TX
I am working directly with the leadership of a well-established Texas litigation firm seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of complex matters for businesses, insurers, and individuals, offering meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on litigation experience.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who wants to manage cases across multiple practice areas within a collaborative, trial-focused environment.
The Civil Litigation Attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution across a diverse litigation docket that may include:
Personal injury matters
Transportation and trucking disputes
Commercial litigation
Premises liability
Insurance-related disputes
Construction-related litigation
Responsibilities include:
Managing a litigation docket with appropriate supervision
Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
Taking and defending depositions
Attending hearings, mediations, and trials
Developing litigation strategy
Communicating directly with clients and opposing counsel
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Texas law license
4+ years of civil litigation experience
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
Ability to handle a mixed docket
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
