Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney - Hybrid

A respected and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about representing injured clients and wants the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, a full benefits package, and the support needed to successfully manage cases.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury matters. Trial experience is preferred but not required. Attorneys must have strong pre-litigation, litigation, negotiation, deposition, mediation, and case-management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from initial evaluation through settlement or trial
  • Represent clients in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and other personal injury matters
  • Evaluate claims, liability, damages, medical records, insurance coverage, and potential case value
  • Develop case strategy and oversee matters throughout pre-litigation and active litigation
  • Draft petitions, motions, briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, settlement demands, and other legal documents
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments
  • Negotiate with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and opposing parties
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
  • Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
  • Work closely with paralegals and legal support staff to keep cases organized and moving forward
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide clear, compassionate guidance
  • Manage deadlines, court filings, litigation calendars, and case documentation

Qualifications

  • At least five years of plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law, civil litigation, insurance claims, and damages
  • Experience handling cases through pre-litigation and litigation
  • Trial experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and deadline-management abilities
  • Professional and compassionate approach to working with injured clients
