Gpac is partnering with a respected engineering firm to find a Land Development Team Lead / Project Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. You'll design and deliver residential, commercial, and mixed-use site development projects, handling site layout, grading and drainage, stormwater management, paving, and site utilities. You'll prepare plan sets, calculations, and permit submittals while working closely with project managers, surveyors, and municipal reviewers. You'll also lead a team of engineers and manage project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, paving, and utility plans
- Prepare construction documents, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and specifications
- Coordinate permitting and approvals with municipalities and review agencies
- Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and clients from concept through construction
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Mentor and review the work of junior engineers and designers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and review agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of land development or site design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of local stormwater and site development regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
