Job Description

A long-standing CPA firm in Central New York is adding an Audit Manager in the Syracuse, NY area. You'll lead your own engagements across nonprofit, governmental and closely held business clients, work a flexible hybrid schedule, and follow a written path toward Senior Manager and partner. Strong audit seniors ready for the step up are welcome to apply too.

What you'll do:

• Plan and lead financial statement audits, single audits and reviews from kickoff to final report
• Own engagement budgets, timelines and client communication
• Advise boards, executive directors and owners on GAAP, internal controls and compliance, including Form 990 questions
• Coach, review and develop seniors and staff

What you bring:

• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience, with in-charge or review experience a strong plus
• CPA preferred (if you're pursuing it, tell us)
• Bachelor's degree from a US college or university in accounting or a related field
• Clear communication and a client-first mindset

Salary: $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience. This is a Hybrid role.
