Audit & Attest Manager

Location: Westerville, OH

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit & Attest Manager for its Ohio offices (Westerville / Columbus area). You will lead engagement teams on audits, reviews and compilations, identify key risk areas, mentor team members and build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams on audits, reviews and compilations, including fieldwork, testing and documentation review
• Identify key audit risk areas, formulate audit approaches and present conclusions to partners
• Train and mentor team members and evaluate staff performance
• Cultivate positive client relationships through proactive communication
• Develop budgets and pricing for audit engagements
• Participate in business development, including proposals and networking
• Stay current on industry and regulatory developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility
• 6+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Caseware/CaseView a plus
