Senior Audit Manager - Real Estate

Location: Atlanta, GA

Overview

A large national CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Audit Manager in Atlanta to lead client engagements across a diverse and growing portfolio, with exposure to real estate clients. You will oversee multiple audit projects, cultivate client relationships, mentor audit staff and partner closely with firm leadership. Remote and hybrid options are available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements and client projects simultaneously
• Communicate with partners, staff and clients on engagement expectations, status and key matters
• Play an active role in business development and firm growth
• Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues
• Mentor, coach and develop audit staff
• Travel approximately 15-20% to support client engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred
• Licensed CPA with 7+ years of public accounting experience
• Real estate specialization; affordable housing experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and develop staff accountants
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgment and the ability to lead and work independently
