Audit Senior

Location: Greenville, SC

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior for its Greenville, South Carolina office. This is a hybrid role. Most industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
• Develop the audit approach used by engagement teams
• Instruct and oversee audit staff throughout engagements
• Review complex client transactions to broaden technical knowledge
• Prepare and/or review financial statements
• Complete general audit procedures, including closing communications, client correspondence and resolving open items
• Research technical issues using online tools

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience with Engagement software a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA or eligibility to work toward a CPA license
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
