Gpac is partnering with an established engineering and surveying firm to find a Licensed Survey Manager for a remote role supporting its Pittsburgh, PA operations. Candidates must live in Pennsylvania or within six hours of Pittsburgh. You'll lead survey operations across a variety of projects, managing field crews and CAD staff, ensuring quality and compliance, and serving as a key point of contact for clients and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys
- Manage field crews and CAD staff, including scheduling and quality control
- Review and sign survey plats and deliverables
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on scope and schedule
- Ensure work meets state standards and firm quality requirements
Requirements:
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
- Must reside in Pennsylvania or within six hours of Pittsburgh
- Experience managing survey crews and projects
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and survey data processing software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
