Gpac is partnering with an established engineering and surveying firm to find a Survey CAD Technician for a remote role supporting its Pittsburgh, PA team. You'll process field and LiDAR data and draft survey and right-of-way deliverables for transportation, utility, and development projects. You'll work closely with survey managers and field crews to produce accurate, high-quality drawings on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Draft existing conditions, topographic, boundary, and right-of-way plans
- Process LiDAR point cloud data and field survey data
- Prepare right-of-way plans, legal descriptions exhibits, and plats
- Perform quality checks on drawings and data
- Coordinate with survey managers and field crews
Requirements:
- Experience with LiDAR processing or right-of-way drafting
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
- Familiarity with point cloud software is a plus
- Understanding of surveying principles and deliverables
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
