Our esteemed personal injury law firm, located in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate the legal process.

Responsibilities

The Paralegal will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of a personal injury case, from inception through resolution. This position requires a strong, independent work ethic and the ability to handle both paralegal and administrative tasks.

  • Case Management: Manage case files from initial intake to settlement or litigation, ensuring all documents are organized and up to date.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing their questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Legal Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
  • Investigation and Research: Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and perform legal research to support case strategies.
  • Administrative Support: Handle a variety of administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating with third parties.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a paralegal within a personal injury law firm is required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
    • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.
