A well established General Contractor with a consistent pipeline of work is seeking a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER to join their growing team.

They have active ground up commercial projects in motion and need someone who can take control of project execution, scheduling, and coordination.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants steady work, a structured environment, and the ability to run projects without unnecessary friction.

Position Overview

This team operates with structure. Communication between field and office is aligned, expectations are clear, and projects move the way they should.

What You Will Be Working On

• Ground up commercial construction
• Projects already in motion
• Office, retail, and light industrial opportunities

What You Bring

• Experience taking a project from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong budget management, cost control, and forecasting
• Ability to sequence work and keep subcontractors aligned to schedule
• Experience handling RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Clear communication with owners, architects, and internal teams
• Comfort working in live ground up commercial work with clear communication between field and office

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout
• Maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost tracking
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

Qualifications

• Ground up experience preferred
• Strong financial management skills
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Proven ability to run projects independently
• Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Stable work history
• Only candidates with relevant construction experience aligned with the role’s project type, scope, and responsibilities will be considered.

Preferred Experience / Software

• Procore
• Bluebeam
• MS Project and/or Primavera P6
• Ground-up commercial project exposure is strongly preferred

Location / Flexibility

• Local candidates are preferred
• Strong relocators with highly relevant ground-up commercial experience will still be considered
