Job Description

We are partnered with a well-established and respected fire protection and life safety contractor who is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Technician to join their growing team. This organization values employee growth, long-term stability, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
• NICET Level I–III in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72 and local fire codes
• Experience installing, testing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs
• Ensure systems comply with NFPA standards and AHJ requirements
• Accurately document inspections, deficiencies, and repairs
• Communicate with customers, inspectors, and project teams
• Support commissioning and acceptance testing when required
