Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) – Transportation & Infrastructure Projects

A respected and growing civil engineering consulting firm is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join its St. Louis office. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse survey projects supporting transportation, municipal, and land development initiatives for state, county, and local agencies.

What You'll Do

• Manage survey projects while maintaining schedules and budgets

• Coordinate field crews, office staff, engineers, and clients

• Review and certify completed survey work

• Prepare and review plats, topographic surveys, engineering surveys, and mapping deliverables

• Research boundary information, land records, and legal descriptions

• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for survey projects

What We're Looking For

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Missouri and/or Illinois preferred

• LSIT candidates with strong experience are encouraged to apply

• 5+ years of land surveying experience

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

• Experience with boundary surveys, plats, legal descriptions, and survey mapping

• Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills

• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and quality
