Litigation Attorney (3–15 Years Experience)

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Litigation Attorney who will handle a variety of complex litigation matters. The role involves managing cases through all phases of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing skills, courtroom experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents

  • Prepare and argue motions in court

  • Conduct and defend depositions

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution

  • Prepare for and assist with trials and evidentiary hearings

  • Attend court proceedings in state and federal courts

  • Collaborate with the litigation team on case strategy and client representation


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including one or more of the following:

    • Commercial business disputes

    • Professional responsibility matters

    • Employment law

    • Personal injury litigation

  • Experience drafting and arguing motions

  • Familiarity with California state and federal court procedures

  • Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred

  • Experience conducting depositions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active California Bar membership


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000 – $300,000 annually (depending on experience)
