Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Shop Mechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong communicator who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both electric and gas motors and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on a variety of equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electric and gas-powered motors
• Identify problems quickly and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding repairs and timelines
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a shop environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with both electric and gas motors
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and dependable
• Valid Class C or Class B driver’s license required

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with heavy equipment or fleet maintenance
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
