With the wild success of their Commercial Paint Division, they are currently seeking a skilled Floor Coatings Estimator to help grow their Flooring Division.

About the Role:
The Floor Coatings Estimator plays a key role in project success by preparing accurate cost estimates, developing proposals, and building strong client relationships. This position requires mobility and balance—working both in the office and in the field. You'll regularly visit job sites, meet with clients, and collaborate with crews to ensure smooth operations and exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review blueprints, conduct site visits, and gather measurements/specifications.
  • Prepare accurate, competitive bids that align with project requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership and flooring teams to plan and execute projects successfully.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, facility managers, and business owners.
  • Present and explain resinous flooring solutions (epoxy, polished concrete, safety striping, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure client satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
  • Stay engaged in field operations to identify challenges early and support smooth execution.
  • Promote safe practices, innovation, and teamwork on every project.
  • Utilize estimating/proposal technology to streamline processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally for site visits and client meetings.
  • Pass pre employment screen and check.
  • Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
  • Required to attend all safety and training seminars (Monday morning meeting is mandatory)
  • Expertise in epoxy flooring systems — including resinous coatings, polished concrete, surface preparation, and application techniques.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, develop cost estimates, and plan/schedule multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Balance of office capabilities (bids, proposals, billing, reporting) with field involvement (site visits, client meetings, quality checks).
  • Familiarity with OSHA, CCS, and industry safety standards.
  • Self-motivation, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Certifications such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, NACE, or other relevant industry training
