We’re working with established fire protection and life safety companies seeking Fire Alarm Inspectors to support commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts. This role is ideal for inspectors who take pride in accuracy, code knowledge, and professionalism in the field.
You’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, and documenting fire alarm systems while working closely with customers, technicians, and project teams to ensure systems remain compliant and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections and testing of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and local AHJ requirements
Accurately document inspection results and deficiencies
Communicate findings clearly with customers and internal teams
Identify system issues and recommend corrective actions
Maintain compliance with company procedures and safety standards
Represent the company professionally at customer sites
Qualifications
Previous experience inspecting fire alarm systems (commercial preferred)
Working knowledge of NFPA and applicable codes
NICET certification (Level I–III preferred, or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage daily routes
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with suppression or sprinkler systems
State or local fire alarm licenses
Background working with hospitals, schools, or large facilities
