**Purchaser/Estimator for Residential Home Builder**

A premier residential home builder, is looking for a meticulous and experienced Purchaser/Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in producing accurate and thorough take-offs and budgets, purchasing materials, hiring trade contractors, and keeping costs down while meeting our high-quality standards.

Purchaser/Estimator Responsibilities:

• Estimate and cost all plans accurately.
• Compile precise quantity take-offs.
• Establish and monitor budgets for all construction phases.
• Help identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures.
• Research and eliminate all material, trade contractor, and back office-related variances.
• Monitor and communicate any hard-cost changes due to cost increases and quantity changes to the director of purchasing, estimating, and design.
• Monitor plan changes and estimate prices of all changes.

Purchaser/Estimator Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with a Residential Home Builder.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical & problem solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy & efficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with PlanSwift is a plus.
