THIS POSITION IS INTENDED TO TRANSITION INTO A LEAD SUPERINTENDENT POSITION.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Ensure the job site is compliant with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform daily inspections of the job site to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve any challenges.
  • Assist in the management of project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and safety logs.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure quality control and proper sequencing of tasks.
  • Identify potential risks or delays and work proactively to mitigate issues.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant superintendent role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 6 months.
  • A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
