NOW HIRING: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | AUSTIN, TX

GPAC is partnering with a well-established and growing company in the commercial construction industry to identify an experienced Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization looking for a financial leader to oversee accounting operations, support strategic growth, and work closely with executive leadership.

FINANCIAL CONSTRUCTION CONTROLLER Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support business decisions.

• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Partner with company leadership to monitor financial performance and improve processes.

• Support construction accounting functions, including percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting.

• Assist with financial analysis and initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as needed.
  
  

FINANCIAL CONSTRUCTION CONTROLLER Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA designation preferred.

• At least 3 years of accounting or financial management experience.

• Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting is a plus.

• M&A and private equity (PE) experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and financial management skills.

• Ability to collaborate with leadership and contribute to the company's continued growth.
