A respected Nashville law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across all phases of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable juggling deadlines in a fast-paced practice.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cases from intake through resolution, coordinating calendars, deadlines, and discovery.
Draft and format pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, correspondence, and trial exhibits.
Conduct legal and factual research; cite-check, Shepardize, and assemble supporting authorities.
Organize, review, and summarize discovery (including large document productions).
Prepare attorneys and witnesses for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial; maintain trial binders and exhibit lists.
Interface professionally with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (civil/commercial experience preferred).
Paralegal degree/certificate (or equivalent education/experience).
Strong command of litigation procedures, e-filing (state & federal), and court rules.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills with strict attention to detail.
Tech-savvy: document management systems, e-discovery platforms, and MS Office/Adobe.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
