Job Description

A community bank in North Liberty is hiring a Credit Analyst to support its lenders across the North Liberty area and eastern Iowa. You'll work hand in hand with loan officers, and the role offers a path toward lending or credit leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Spread financial statements and tax returns for new loans and renewals
• Analyze and risk-rate commercial and consumer credit lines
• Write concise credit memos for the lenders and loan committee
• Support month-end reporting and regulatory exam requests
• Monitor covenants, document exceptions, and policy compliance
• Help train newer team members on credit procedures

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year school
• At least 1 year as a bank credit analyst preferred
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and spreading software
• Excellent interpersonal skills with loan officers and borrowers
• Detail oriented and interested in a lending career
